I AM desired by the Patents, Designs, and Trade Marks Section of this Chamber to refer to previous correspondence which has passed between the Foreign Office and the London and other Chambers of Commerce during the past three or four years on the subject of trade marks in China, and I am instructed by that section to inquire what progress has meanwhile been made in the compilation of the Chinese Trade Marks Regulations, in regard to which the members of the section would be exceedingly obliged if you could favour them with a statement showing the present position of the whole matter.
